I have one of these

a spirit power pad, four XLRs/ jacks and two extra stereo channels plus phono input. It's really small like slightly bigger than a mouse mat size and everything (including power) plugs into the top.. would be ideal for your purposes.. You'll have to find a used one as they don't make them any more. I have used mine alot for running keys/ laptop/ acoustic guitar into small PA's without enough channels.

All their pedals are basically cheap Boss knock-offs for a 6th of the price. I have a Behringer stomp-box tuner, and while it works fine (and perfoms exactly the same as the Boss tuner), it goes through batteries like you wouldn't believe. I'll be getting a Boss tuner as soon as I can afford it. Good for bands starting out though.
