I'm an ex-San Diego native, and just can't forget when I bought their first 7". I really liked it! I won't hide it! But I will admit that most of what they've put out since is crap.

I guess when I weigh it out, its mostly crap...

N/C WF:5 because the bands that spun off from this entity, namely Cattle Decapitation, are so infinitely better at bringing the GRIND.

i think the locust suck. and that's kind of weird, because i used to like them. i even thought their latest record was pretty good. but there is something about them that i don't like. maybe it's fact that the music just isn't that good. fuck it.

I've tried to get into them, on multiple occasions. I mean,
-they did a split with Melt Banana
-Andy DNA likes them
so how bad could they be?

Can't get into it. CRAP.

One of my friends listed Melt-Banana as one of his favorite live acts and I mentioned I'd only listened to that split they did with the Locust, who he wasn't a big fan of.

Then I thought it was silly to like the Locust more than Melt-Banana, but now I see the error of my ways.

So NC for introducing me to Melt-Banana, but I have no desire to listen to the Locust again. So CRAP.
