I had a fucked up dream the other day. I was on EA too long, and when I went to bed, I dreamed that there was a new area for discussion. It was called Dead/Not Dead. There were also a bunch of new "rooms" to the forum, and they weren't all dark grey and beige like the standard EA forum. R.F.F. and jayryan hung out in a forum room that was designed to look like a pinball machine.
Anyway, when certain people on Electrical were threatened/hated on enough, their avatar took a hit...sorta like Battleship. Eventually, if you did enough stupid shit, or were deliberately ganged up on by forum members, your posts all showed up in a different color. Most of the innocuous posters were left alone...it was the "big dogs" that were hurting. My posts were blue (this meant that you were in danger, and needed to lay off of people to get your posts to be beige again), some posters' posts were purple (this meant that you were in big trouble...on EA "life support" or something). If your posts were red, that meant you were "dead". When your posts were red, you could no longer sign into EA. Your screenname, your avatar...they were relegated to history. Finally, if your posts showed up as any color other than the standard beige, the part of the screen that has your name and avatar extended in the form of some kind of "Do Not Disturb" sign over the majority of the poster's name/avatar box below you.
The only person who was in the red was Christopher J. McGarvey (sorry Chris, I can't be held responsible for my subconscious mind). Soon, I was at a bar, inexplicably posting to EA on the bar's computer (what?), and when I went to get a drink, some Wisconsin hick type guy insulted the entire board and drove my blue posts ("danger") straight into the red (hence, I was dead).
I was really pissed and tried to do everything I could to sign in somehow, but I could not. Minotaur029 was dead. When I woke up, I sort of wondered if that was actually what EA looked like now.
Ty Webb, for some reason your posts were purple, but you're never mean to anybody on this board. Are you harassing everyone via PMs?
Anyway, I think we should probably institute these changes as dictated by my subconscious.
