Check the High Noon Saloon website, dude.

I know it has been posted but the official announcement hasn't been made. I can tell you right now that some things might not work out. I am loosely involved with the show and got a bit of an update this evening. Basically I don't want a bunch of bones-a-poppin. Again my involvement is loose, I don't want to appear to be an authority. Plans change.

So that's a tentative date then?

One of the organizers said that Michael may have a prior commitment on that date.

I was in attendence at the organizational meeting last evening for the music fest Killdozer is proposed to be playing at. I heard the same thing about a potential scheduling conflict, but that it was "90%" that KD would end up playing. Cross your fingers and pray to your gods Killdozer fans.

I was hoping you would chime in as you would be more qualified to speak on the issue. I was just going off of what Jesse had told me.

Well there you go.

Yeah I feel a little guilty about saying they are "for sure" playing and now it not being 100% confirmed. Then again Michael told via email twice early in the spring Killdozer was intending to play Madison in September and I was just too excited to keep that news to myself. One way or the other things should be cleared up within weeks and I'll post here if anything is certain.

I just received word that Killdozer is confirmed for the High Noon Saloon on September 20th. Most likely an evening show starting at 9 PM. To the best of my knowledge they have no other future reunion shows planned or booked beside Madison on 9/20. The venue has a capacity of 399 including staff so it will be a sold out show.

The show is taking place in the context of the first annual Forward Music Festival in numerous venues in downtown Madison. Participating confirmed venues include The Majestic Theater, The High Noon Saloon, The Frequency (new club opening in June), The Corral Room, Café Momarte, The Crystal Corner Bar, The Orpheum Stage Door Theater and others to be added. A two day festival (9/19-20) of inventive and interesting bands spanning indie, punk, Americana, hip hop, metal and such and acts of local, regional and national significance playing in relatively intimate venues. It will generally be a good weekend for music in Madison, Wisconsin Willy Street Fair and the Madison World Music Festival happening that same weekend.

For Forward Music Festival patrons will purchase passes that get them into all participating venues during the course of the festival. All the venues are within walking distance and spread out perhaps 1.5 miles from end to end in the central isthmus area. I will post more to this thread when more confirmations are official regarding the full line-up and how to get passes for the festival. That will all be coming out in June.

In addition to Killdozer a number of EA bands will be playing so make your travel plans now.
