Speaking of EA merchandise, can we get some of the bestest threads published in hard cover?

already on it. give us some time.

thanks.

but Dazey Diver's DIY EA book is a good idea. so just DIY.

I was thinking about compiling all the C\NC votes and acting like it's some kind of authority on opinion.

So like Rock, Rot or Rule, which was thoroughly researched in coffee shops in Lawrence, Kansas?

Wow did I miss a good thread yesterday!

One of the main reasons I come to this forum is because regardless of my demeanor at the time I leave feeling happier and less stressed.

I suppose if someone can't handle things being said to him/her then they shouldn't be here. If being in the company of certain people bums you out, then the move is obvious. I DO get a chuckle about how this particular person says they've said their peace yet still defends themselves in follow-up posts. Less drama can be seen in teenage girls!
Don't get chumpatized!

I prefer "shit sniffer" as a 2-word expression rather than a single word. It seems to have more impact, perhaps because when you run the two words together, it reads like just another run-of-the-mill Internet slang.

KillPopRecordsLLC, your allegations of snobbery may or may not be appropriate. but like any community (Internet or otherwise) the EA Forums has its share of fucktards, asshelmets, monomaniacs and pedantic weenies, but also a disproportionate share of very genuine, good-natured, humorous and knowledgeable people. I feel that "99% jerks" comment is totally unwarranted. You wonder why people might take you for a spammer or some kind of lame "viral marketing" asshole trying to "increase brand awareness by use of online resources" when your own username is "KillPopRecordsLLC"? When a n00b like you with a username of a company creates a thread promoting your own business? Since you claim to have been lurking around here for years, you ought to be familiar with the prevailing sentiment regarding commercialism. If not, then I recommend that you check out this thread.

Anyway, in an effort to comprehend exactly what the fuck you're on about, I searched your post history and read the respective threads. It wasn't long before I noticed a definite pattern in your conversation.

In your thread about mics used in Nirvana recordings, kerble made a music-nerd joke (he does that sometimes. it seems to be one of his favorite things to do) about you owing apologies, at which point you started calling everybody a snob and a nerd:

KillPopRecordsLLC wrote:why would i apologize for asking a question I was just curious about? You guys are just acting like snobby role playing nerd group at high school and you guys jump all over for asking why wizards have 300HP
kerble wrote:yeah, dude, the "all apologies" thing was a nirvana joke.

I'm sorry you're not paying attention.

Typical Internet shennanigans and fanboyish Nirvana discussion ensued, but it was still good-natured. The real turning point, however seems to have occurred in the Studio Questions forum, when you posted a new thread to ask an extremely obvious question, for which a prominent thread already existed, and kerble (a forum moderator) reprimanded you for it (he does that quite a lot. Look up "kerble" in the UrbanDictionary if you think I'm lying):

I need some new t-shirts for summer!

now you're just being annoying. there's a thread ON THE FIRST PAGE OF THE STUDIO QUESTIONS FORUM:
http://www.electrical.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14686

seriously, search or fuck off.

At which point you took to insulting a forum moderator (itself a wholly bannable offense in many BBS communities):
kerble wrote:
KillPopRecordsLLC wrote:Wow. Its always impressive seeing a full grown man playing into his emotion. I thought this would have a little more class then the counterstrike forum. :P

And I thought asking you nicely to use the search function in the tech room yesterday would get you to act like a grown ass man and not be so lazy today.

but I guess that's too much to expect.

fall in or fall out, KillPop.

Really, comparing us to a community of video gamers... Well I never! ;)

Again, you were the one out of line, but since kerble is actually a very decent fellow with plenty of experience in dealing snotty, immature little brats, he merely gave you a warning:

KillPopRecordsLLC wrote:lol. thats raw. Sorry im a totaly n00b!1111!

Do I get tea bagged now? Are you tea bagging right now?

I'm a moderator here, chief.
I'm asking you to abide by house rules.

you don't have to follow our rules, but you'll get a lot more out of the site and and a lot less grief from this forum's members if you do.

I don't know why you have to be such a petulant little prig about it, but hey, maybe that's your 'online persona'. it's a terrible one, but at least it's yours.

sincerely,

Faiz Razi

(Even signed his real name. How's that for a class act?)

So then you got all huffy when somebody pointed out that posting a thread on a company's website that advertises your own competing company is in rather poor taste, you launch into an impassioned little tirade:

yeah, especially starting a thread to do so.

do it the classy way, put it in a sig, and make a million pointless posts. focusing on the tech room. then we'll see if you know what you're doing.
KillPopRecordsLLC wrote:I dont know why you guys have to complete a**holes for some reason. I not even remotely hyping my studio. Im a huge albini fan (bought a binder on ebay that had is signature on it addressed to nirvana for 50 something bucks, now displayed in my control room lol) and hes a big inspiration to me and I always enjoy meeting other people in the audio world that kinda admire that sort of thing. I remember seeing that there were a few people here from milwaukee and more from chicago that come here. This is one of my favorite forums. I come here a lot tho i only recently registered. I figured other gear heads would be interested in just checking stuff out. Im not trying to get business. I figure there would be other gear heads such as myself who would just like to go check out gear much as one checks out art at a gallery. I dont know why you guys are being jerks about it. I would not have excepted this kinda reaction on this site.

I'm not pimping, spamming, vomiting, or passing gas. I just wanted to let inform invite a couple locals (engineers mainly) to check out my setup.

Maybe both of you completely misunderstand what i'm doing.

I believe we understand exactly what you're doing, Mr. KillPopRecordsLLC, though I have doubts about whether you understand what you're doing.

Now suddenly this nonsense about how you're going to leave the forums because we're all assholes? Maybe you failed to read the Forum Guidelines before you joined this community? (It's the second stickied post at the top of General Discussions):

3. If you make a post stating that you are leaving, you will be. If you make a poll asking if you should leave, and you lose, you will be.

BTW, if you decide to stay, I'd make a new user account with a regular name that doesn't have LLC or INC or something like that at the end, cuz it's kind of obnoxious and lame.

Or you could call yourself "Shitsniffer, LLC". That would be pretty awesome. I'd go see...
