What do you like to do when you are in town?

I'm heading out to see some friends for the week, and I know next to nothing about this city. High-brow, low-brow - I go both ways. Favorite hiking trails, fun musical happenings? What's going on 5/31-6/7?

something tells me this has been covered here before, but there is a GREAT vintage arcade there that I forgot the name of, I am sure someone here will remember the name...

Ground Kontrol. They serve beer too!

Don't they put on shows there as well?

Some nights there are shows. Not always though

Strip Clubs....

Also, Ground Kontrol is GLORIOUS! All stand-ups on the first floor and all pinball on the second. Plus there is a bar that opens at night so you can get drunk and play awesome 80's vector graphic arcade games.

Lastly, do you like rollerskating? Oaks Amusement Park has a great vintage roller rink that owns a huge wurlitzer pipe organ. I believe that Thursday nights are the sessions that they ditch the DJ and have someone come in to play polka, waltzes and tangos on the wurlitzer. It's a nice little time warp, beware though, thursday night is also seniors night. They will kick your ass!

I would Kerble you, but I can't be arsed to look it up.

I know there is, but I'm not looking to move there. I am looking for things to do while on vacation. A bit of a different topic, possibly yielding different results. Not quite a kerble, but close.
