Delilahs bar

This post is intended for the citizens of Chicago or those familiar with it.

What do you think of the "Punk" bar Delilahs on Lincoln? I attend it's free pool nights and I feel that aside from the skinheads, it's mostly a fashion show. Occasionally they'll play some decent Chicago punk rock but strangely enough, the bar's regulars turn their heads to Chicago punk.

I do enjoy the beer selection they have. Only there have I seen skullsplitter beer from Scotland.

Who said it was a punk bar?

It's advertised on Sunday's and Mondays as a punk bar. When you go on a Monday, the majority are "punk." Other days it's flooded with yuppie larva.

Ah. It used to be more of a hipster place, but in recent years that neighborhood has gotten more and more rife with douches.

as far as bars in Chicago go, it's ok.
We have very few really good bars here.
All you can hope for is not completely horrible and it's usually not completely horrible

All I can say about this place is that they have plenty of beer and booze but nothing else. Last time I went here I burnt cigarette holes in some women who looks like she dates "cunts" fur jacket and then stole some cigarettes from some would be "punks" and smoked them with a purpose in front of them. Maybe twenty years ago this place was alright. Chicago however gentrified these days has a lot to offer but you have to look beyond Wicker Park.
