Wicker Park Fest
2I gotta work tonight. I'm pissed that I'll miss Polvo. grrr. I expect it to be done at 10 pm sharp, which is when I'm likely to get home on a normal night.
Wicker Park Fest
3Fuckin' low class people coming into my neighborhood. There's a reason I moved to Wicker Park you know, so I didn't have to see poor people walking around every day depressing me. I went out today and ugh, it's like trash city out there. All kinds of indie rockers just lounging around smoking their cigarettes being all not outwardly wealthy.
Did you know it's only 5 dollars to get in? Who's idea was that? I do NOT want people who can afford a 5 dollar festival to be coming into our community. It should be at least 50 to get in.
I'm gonna have to have this fest banned next year, this is ridiculous.

Tell me about it! I'll probably get someone's puke on the wheels of my stroller at the farmer's market in the morning! Certainly no one in our condo association had anything to do with organizing this; I've never even heard of any of these bands. Joan of arc, Brighton, MA.. maps and atlases, the 1900's? Are these bands? Sounds more like a history lesson to me!

5If this festival gets in the way of me taking my little Tyler and Ashley to their pottery workshop or their Dance class tonight I swear I will blow a gasket.

6I'm not going (don't really care enough about the bands playing) but for those who do, remember that $5.00 is a DONATION. I'm sure the bands have a guarantee for a gig like this. Why give the Wicker Park Chamber of Commerce (or whoever benefits from this) the full amount?
15 cents is probably about right. Save your money for merch from the bands. Sneak in your booze. Lots of people did it last year.
