I've only seen the original. Is the "where are they now" bit on the filmmakers or on the concert goers?
The filmmakers, by the way, returned to the same parking lot ten or twenty years later (can't remember which) to make Neil Diamond Parking Lot. Lots and lots of middle aged women with the husbands that just don't give a fuck anymore.
This is going to get worse before it gets any better.

I love that guy. Great zebra-striped unitard he's wearing too.

Neil Diamond Parking Lot isn't as fun, but is pretty entertaining.

Yeah, the extras on the DVD are a lot of fun. In addition to the Neil Diamond, there's a Harry Potter Parking Lot, too. The footage of the filmmakers finding zebra guy all those years later is odd. Dude seems so... boring. He also seems borderline terrified that he has been tracked down. Pretty funny actually.

I loved the "Heavy Metal Basement" clip, too. For those who haven't seen it, some guy has a, well, I don't know what else to call it but a shrine, to heavy metal -- in his basement. Gives the camera and album-by-album tour of the Judas Priest discography, shows off his metal-related collectible stuff. It's pretty much this guy's life's work. It's pretty fucking precious in its own way.

Not crap, obviously.
