As I was beating the pants off some old men at the poker table today, I thought how much Sylvain needs to visit Atlantic City and see just how "American" America can be.

Nah, don't worry about that, when they were in town like 4 months ago, we went to a casino in Indiana. Can't get too much more frighteningly American than that!

For the pokers tonight, I used my 5 Franc coin (a most prized gift from Sylvain and Stephanie) as my card holder. I've actually been carrying it around with me for days now.

I've just arrived at home 30 minutes ago from the hospital. I have a treatment and I won't be able to work before September but I'm out of hospital. I still am very tired but I don't feel any pain anymore.

I will have a scanner exam next week and will have to visit the doctor to see if everything is going well.

I would like to thank you all very much for your kind words and your support. Stéphanie had printed the three first pages of the thread and had brought them to the hospital. Your messages brought me much joy and courage.
