How loud is a Traynor TS-25?

Thanks guys. The drummer is not a very hard hitter. I actually want the 25 not the 25B because of the reverb but I totally see where a combination of the two could be the best option, if it existed. My Standel doesn't have reverb, neither do my small Ric amps and I've basically never used reverb on an amp but in this band I'm using a fair amount of it. A friend lent me a really nice reverb pedal but I lost it a couple gigs ago and figure that a cheap amp with verb is the way to go. This is a fun band but it's really casual and I have no need to spend a lot of money on a fancy reverb pedal or anything. If I can get this TS-25 cheap, I'm going to jump on it.

I posted this the other day it the "Traynor alert..." thread but figured I'd just ask it here. I'm thinking of buying a TS-25. I know they're 25 watts but how loud are they? I need something for a sort of pickup up surf/instrumental band I have been playing with. We're not super loud. Bass, drums and 2 guitars. The other guitarist uses a Fender Blues Jr. so that might give you any idea of the volume we play at. Any thoughts? Can a TS-25 keep up?

I have a 25 and a 25B. I prefer the latter, but you should be fine. They both "feel" louder than 25 watts. I'd suggest the B instead, as the 15" pushes more air, and has a richer tone, but it lacks reverb. It does have a mid knob, which I feel the TS25 is missing. If I were technically inclined, I'd move the reverb tank over to the B, but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Fwiw, I really like the reverb on the TS25. It's no Fender Twin, but I think it sounds nice. I wish it had a footswitch for the reverb, but I dont really mind the dial. It's also a great amp for recording vocals. Mark Greenberg used the TS25 he sold me to track some vocals for Kelly Hogan. Sounded aces. Really musical gain stage for a solid state, too.
