Incidental and minor unwarranted assholery by the standards of this thread, but do cops in the US typically swear at people, like when Officer Nickelsack tells the guy, 'put your fucking hands on the dash'?

A few weeks ago in the middle of the night the cops took some lady away from the floor below me. They were parked outside my window so I heard one of the cops and his conversation with her and then the two cops talking about her in front of her while she complained she needed to change her tampon. They ignored her, spoke sarcastically about her request, they didn't believe her at all. She had been loud and complaining and combative with them the whole time so they just didn't seem to give a fuck. Ended up chatting about where to grab food later and if the freeway was still closed at the junction. She was just cuffed and waiting and complaining in the back seat while they delayed. Yeah they are not polite at times.
