Dance music that is actually good
Hey, I just heard a new Chemical Brothers track! S'alright, but it's no "Dance With Me" by Peter Brown.

Thanks for the kind words. It's nice to be appreciated, for my taste in house music. Please appreciate this classic Cajual Chicago mix from Mark Grant. Cajual is Green Velvet/Cajmere's imprint. Old shit, and great shit.

Andy Stott's "Faith in Strangers" is way up there for me. Easily my favorite record of 2014 and one of the first albums that got me into electronic music. Can't recommend it enough.

Saw a Grateful Dead cover band tonight and those motherfuckers didn't play "Shakedown Street." Left to my devices for the perfect groove as usual.

Shits got me scootin. Been listening to it for like the last two hours in a mix Honey Dijon dropped for Radio 1. For me, house music hits that spot like a mug when it is slightly dark, and that funk wobbles the marrow in yr bones. Jesus.

daaammnn...next level house shit coming throughthis dark and eerie trip slithers and tickles your ear canal with deadpan zulu vocals and factory atmospherics until it all comes together for the insane bone-breaking breakbeat in the 3rd act. serious dancing.reminiscent of the jazzy swing samples of Elisabeth Esselink/Solex set to mischievous house groove. again, serious dancing.
