I would like to play this, in some way/shape/form.No. It just descended into regional bickering because I m in London and evidently that s a big problem.Shame, but pretty typical. With respect, I don't get that impression from this thread, but I'm not party to any private conversations you might have had with others. The past PRFBBQs have only happened because of the persistence and hard work of a number of small groups of core individuals. If you want to do one in London, you need to do it, or convene a group who can do it. I'm behind you in principle 100% but I also work full time, have a child and live in Edinburgh. I'll do what I can but realistically that's fairly limited.Edited to add: I know that lots of people work full-time and have children - that's not meant as an excuse to avoid getting involved - but my life is fairly hectic right now and I can't take on any extra-curricular activities.

Oh yeah, I'm not complaining about the time or money to get there. I prefer the train. for what it's worth. I would certainly try to attend a PRF happening in London. I just mean I'm not going to be an awful lot of help trying to organise things on the ground.

I guess another option for a get together would be to descend upon a suitably high-profile indie rock gig a la 'Release the Bats', although perhaps that is a memory from a golden age. Shellac UK tour hint hint?
