Jammed last night with a bass player who was using 70s SVT, 8x10 and p bass. Sounded wonderful and deep, even at lower volumes. There's just something about moving 8 speakers that sounds really good, IMO.

The SVT sounded not bad, but dull/darker. I don't know if the vintage cabs sound better, but I've always been a 15 driver guy.
