The other day I read an article about the National Museum of African American Music, which led me to this great performance by Willie Mae "Big Mama" Thornton. Harmonica band jam starts around 2:34. "Hound Dog" at the start - shouldn't be missed.

Beck has a song called 'One Foot in the Grave' that he used to perform live. Inspired by Sonny Terry, it's just him with harmonica, stomping his feet, and some LOL lyrics ("While sitting at home cooking up a steak/Satan came down dressed like a snake"). Worth looking up.

Not crap overall.
"Whatever happened to that album?"
"I broke it, remember? I threw it against the wall and it like, shattered."

I will die on this hill: One Foot In The Grave is probably Beck's best album.

I didn't really like that album when I first got it - I was more into Odelay-type Beck - but I've changed my mind. Lots of good stuff on there.
