One of my old bosses had this idea of a 'work crush', where he would be smitten with how it was someone did their job or handled themselves in a meeting or whatever. I really like that idea. On a recent episode Kreative Kontrol, Lee Ranaldo was talking about going through obsessive periods where you want to listen to everything a given band/artist has done, to "dive deep". Is that what you mean by "band crush"? Or more "I want to play a show with / do a project with this band"?

Probably both, but we almost never are able to make the later happen.
