For this reason I don't trust boys/men who talk about watches. Usually there is something gross inside that led them to this interest. Crap.
I like my nostalgaic Casio. Fashion Item: Rolex (or Hublot or whatever) for sure gets a Crap vote though.

Being somewhat of a paper pusher, I don't really have a concern about this for myself, but I can definitely understand why folks that work with handheld tools or around machinery would not want to wear a watch or any jewelry for that matter. Not only could your friend potentially break his wristwatch... but also his wrist.

It's kinda annoying to wear but I've been enjoying it as a way to track my exercise and to remind me to stand up once an hour and all that shit. Found out my normal resting heart rate is between 40 and 45 bpm, which is a little wild.
40-45?! Damn, you must be a very relaxed person.

I agree the Apple Watch is nice for the fitness stuff. I like the heart rate monitor for cardio stuff, and the daily rings are a subtle prod for me to hit some baseline level of activity each day. But other than that, I don’t care about Siri commands or custom faces or reading text messages on my wrist.
