Probably my fave split evah. Freemasonry tunes particularly slay
Kickin' it old school Georgia punk rock!
I do like Freemasonry's "sparring..." but this previous split it's the real deal; better songs, strong recording. One of the tightests bands i've heard.

Now:

Fiddlehead - The deaf waiter (1994)

Another personal fave. Great recording by Albini San.

New PJ Harvey single. The fact that the new album will be musical improvisations to accompany words from her poetry book makes perfect sense. Production is nice: little tense, little melancholy, she's found a split between mid period vocal style and her newer unadorned indie rock news reporter vibe.

We'll see if there are memorable hooks hiding in the meandering or if this will be tasteful yet forgettable.
