There's a lot of pinch harmonics in "Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck..."

While I get the Zakk hate, the chorus of this tune might actually be where my heart is. I mean, the tune from front to back but I get that it's really not everyone's cup of tea.

Come to think of it, Dave from The Four Horsemen was pretty good at skating the line between hitting a pinch harmonic and just picking a bit harder.

Just tapped "Pinch harmonics" into YouTube in order to find out what they were.

Not crap in the hands of somebody like Trey Azagthoth who can fit it in with crazy vibrato, bends and natural harmonics to create some truly deranged sounding guitar playing (especially live). First third Morbid Angel albums are un-fuck-with-able when it comes to metal guitar playing. Even the mediocre MA albums are worth checking out for the guitar playing.

It's like a Jimi Hendrix song wandered into a white neighbourhood by mistake and got attacked by a gang of handclaps.

I usually play a jazzmaster, and I recently bought a mustang, so I've been doing the punch harmonic to mimic the behind-the-bridge sound. Gets the job done when my band plays live.

The Descendants/ALL also used pinch harmonics tastefully in a "punk" context. It is not really my favorite sound, but why not.
