Just got in a half dozen of these for live sound:

We have been using these cheap little electret lapel/lav mics, positioned with little alligator clips right inside the typewriter near the impression area. It’s a good acoustic spot but the little omni mics feedback easily and I think the directional design here will be a big help, and still be positionable.
It’s funny to be “upgrading” to Behringer, but here we are.

Picked up a broken Sunn Alpha Six mixer for cheap. Same 100W output stage and reverb tank as a Beta Lead, but with a deeper sounding reverb, as the tank is being driven harder. Preamps are the same as the Alpha series guitar amps. Sucks as a mic mixer, but sounds great as a guitar pedal platform if you want to do some parallel stuff.
Needed a new fuse holder, and there was a filter capacitor loose and rattling around inside, but I found where it was supposed to be and resoldered it. Looked like a cold solder joint, so I touched up everything else I could access.

915I have a scrap Yamaha M916 in the garage and I kinda want to break it out into little 6-8 channel boxes with just pre and eq to direct outs for DAW recording and shit and that form factor would be perfect. 918Very happy with the Vista Musicmaster Bass, here it is with its cousin, my Mustang VI project based on a Squier CV body. These days "shell peach" seems more suitable for the colour name.

919My new doom synth amp is a tray or YVM-1 vocal PA that was jumped and turned into a guitar/bass amp. I run it through 2 PA speakers and it is loud AF. 920Ordered a Jazzmaster that I extremely don't need because a) I'm a sucker for Lake Placid Blue and b) Fender's recent "sales" have been frustratingly inaccessible in Canada. At $400ish CAD shipped, it was 60% of what I paid for the Hologram Chroma Console that I have on order, but nevertheless violates my "no more than 3 new guitars per year" rule. I don't need any of this! Why!
