WAIT!? Didn't they already play that song?
Examples:
Big'n - Discipline Through Sound
A Frames - Black Forest
Craw - Map, Monitor, Surge

2On the Steady Diet of Nothing cassette, they faded out the instrumental song Steady Diet at the end of side A and faded it back in at the start of side B, thought that was a cool way to handle it. Don't know if they did the same on vinyl.

3Assuming this sort of thing counts: “Roi” on Last Splash.

4On the album Tyranny (For You) from Front 242 the songs "Moldavia" and "Neurobashing" share the same musical theme. Great album with an inventive use of sequencing.

5“I Can’t Be Nice To You” by JChurch had two versions on the CD of Prophylaxis.

6Somewhere City by Origami Angel has this fun and very theatrical structure where in the last song they start playing all the choruses from the rest of the album and then end with the same guitar figure that started the album so you could hypothetically just loop it

7QOTSA when they were good, throws in a repeat of Feel Good Hit of the Summer at the back of a track near the end of Rated R. It’s lots of fun.

8Always admired how this works - at the level of musical figures and themes - on Oxbow's Thin Black Duke.
The The United States of America s/t album ends with a nightmarish collage of elements from the rest of the record. Feels like it's destroying itself as you listen. Really moving.

10I tend to forget about this record. It was the first A Frames record I bought, and though I think the self-titled and 2 are more, I dunno..something, Black Forest is still a ripper. Grade A band. Top notch.
Rick Wright playing the melody to "See Emily Play" at the end of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX)" should count. Like, it's in the ballpark of the concept of this thread.
