This is going to sound dickish, but I've been having many of these arguments with people for going on 30 years now, and their logical fallacies and pitfalls have remained UNCHANGED in that time despite mountains of observational and empirical evidence that undermines their arguments. I have zero interest in reliving that dumb shit again.

Like I said, I only have like 2 or 3, and I've un-foed each one out of a sense of remorse for excluding someone, only to have my original decision fully reenforced.

i think it is a really good life changing moment when you realize that it is not on you to help these idiots figure out that they are trash. especially when it dawns on you that they’re just some loser sitting in front of his keyboard, bashing away, totally miserable.

you know, I’m no longer on the fence. I’m going to take exception to this in a big way. If I wanted groupthink censorship and slutshaming there are a million social sites where you can downvote people into the dirt and never have to interact with anybody who doesn’t exactly fit yer perfect algorithm.
