I listen to podcasts on Spotify and today I got int my car and Spotify started up (it connects to the bluetooth automatically and plays) and it was a Joe Rogan show. I have not once ever listened to Joe Rogan on Spotify.
Truly pathetic behavior, whatever the reason.
promoting a doctrine of white supremacy. that's the reason.

Dunno if I followed up on this but I contacted Spotify about this issue. Of course it had no explanation as to why but it told me to uninstall and reinstall the app. This worked for six or so months, but it happened again recently, and someone else I know said this has happened to him.

OK so I got my "2025 Wrapped" today and it's total and complete bullshit. I have no idea how they gathered what they did, but I purposely played a particular track a LOT between January and today with the intent of testing this, and it didn't even make my top 5. My number 5 track, there is no way I listened to it more times than this track. Maybe they only are scraping certain time periods...And the format for Wrapped is shit now.

there is a shuffle feature. are you asking if it's truly random? that is up for debate.
I don't want random, I want shuffle. Random could result in the same track being played forever. With shuffle that can't happen.
by that definition it is neither. It’s pseudo random to prevent repeats and clumps.

(At least it feels that way to me and most users)
