If there was any way to add some more accent marks to "naïveté", this would be the time.

Republicans have been whining about losing elections and election fraud for some time, but the claims never add up to the evidence. However, with current propaganda, disinformation and fake news, combined with the hubris of Trump's depravity and ability to corrupt all that he touches, it's become this "problem" in that it's a made up thing used as an excuse to fuck with elections.

Will ICE be monitoring all elections, as Bannon is now suggesting? Well, ICE is supposed to enforce immigration, so that's outright and abuse of power. Also, again the states run elections. The GOP hates the Voting Rights Act, but they want to control elections now under the guise of the Voting Rights Act? I mean, this is utter horseshit. If you see red states allowing this, it's because they are complicit. First, wonder what the governor or secretary of state are getting back in return, for personal gain. Next, look for their implications in the Epstein files.

This is going to be one fucked up year for mid-terms. It will tell us everything we need to know about the future of the US. If republicans are successful fucking over the elections, that is the end of the democracy. If they are unable to fuck with it, then we are stronger than expected.

Just as an example, Joe Rogan still frequently parrots the idea that the Dems strategically allow "illegal aliens" into the country and foster them in certain places so they can tip elections the party's way, presumably with their (illegal) votes. Of course, it is patently false. But he believes it, totally believes it. Because he is a dumbass. And there are plenty of dumb, paranoid people within the ranks (and in office) that really do believe all that shit. It's not just cynical people unfortunately.

If you tell a lie enough, it becomes a truth. Or whatever that saying is.

Anyway, we're in the era where all the lies are eating their own tales.

This takedown of Rogan is absolutely fantastic.
