Here are some things, released in the Year of Our Lord 2026, that I would recommend to other listeners . . .
Breezy, colorful funky stuff:

A pair of nice ambient outings:

12This one should be pretty good:

I am kind of on the fence about Valentina Magaletti, seems super cool and is super prolific with stuff I feel like I should like more but nothing has ever really sunk its claws in me. I love upsammy, one of my fave electronic artists of the past years. Preview track is solid.

13Ok - so I’m biting on the artwork here - not the overdone nude girl thing, but what the fuck is on the floor? Are they fish? Is she meant to be seeking refuge in a demonic future world of dead fish and the only safe place is standing on a toilet? Did the fish eat her clothes? So many questions - Whos got the answers?

14I don't remember how to embed a Bandcamp link on here so this might just be a URL, but I like the new album by UK band MPTL MIcroplastics. Crazy & wacked-out like Butthole Surfers "Rembrandt Pussyhorse" or the first Fat White Family album.

17My guess is it's just an abandoned building that has been left to the elements. Paint peeling off the walls, rust and mold accruing, and so on.Iancee wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 3:07 amOk - so I’m biting on the artwork here - not the overdone nude girl thing, but what the fuck is on the floor? 18I found this song by happenstance. They are dropping an EP in March. I think they're from Germany. Don't know at all who they are but it sounds totally great.

19This rips. Spirit of Ayler seems to loom large here.
