Fuck.

Also: fuck.

I was in Abu Dhabi a little over a week ago and if timing would have been a little different, I could have been killed by falling debris, apparently.

I hate this administration.

All of the analysis I've seen leading up to this- and not just leftist dove stuff, even some more neocon icky thinkers- said that the most troubling aspect is Trump's lack of clear objective. Saying 'regime change' isn't really a goal. It's definitely not enough to justify bombing Iranian citizens who've been protesting their own government.

If we look at Venezuela as an example it's especially troubling. What exactly did he do there? How are things materially different for Venezuelans? The foreign policy m.o. seems to be 'sound and fury signifying nothing'. It's all the violence with only nebulous purposes. Even Bush, misguided and lying as those people were, dreamed up more of a concept behind what they were doing.

Maybe he'll stop as quickly as he has in other operations when he loses interest and wants to pick out wall sconces and marble for his renno project.

US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, who was appointed by Kamala Harris, reportedly went on Tucker Carlson’s podcast to talk about how Israel would be justified in taking all of Palestine on biblical grounds.

Wait, hold on.

Sorry: I made a mistake. It turns out that the current ambassador was, in fact, appointed by Donald Trump and that the people who thought Harris and Trump were equally bad are, in fact, the dumbest motherfuckers on the entire planet.
