Re: Fugazi - Albini sessions finally released

I had no idea more than seven songs were recorded in this session. It's really cool they decided to do this release.

Not a patch on the actual record, though. The richness in the details and performances (especially vocal performances) of their sound is not better served by a one-and-done approach. It's also clear they explored these songs a little further after this session and brought out more little hooks and memorable details by the time the official record got made.

I've always found IOTK is the first record where Fugazi made use of the recorded sound, and sound itself, as a primary element, an approach they took further on the following two records and on End Hits it paid off immensely (not that any of their records was not at least very good). So the more documentary version of Killtaker is bound to be less interesting.

The cause for all of this is super important. I watched that whole Letters video in the header and teared up right from the beginning.

The recording? Never cared for it when it came out. I don't really care for it now. It does not give me the Fugazi aesthetics that is recognizable with the band and it strikes me as odd when I listen to it.

It's not CRAP but it's not NOT CRAP. It's NC CRAP!
Nothing major here. Just a regular EU cock. I pull it out and there is beans all over my penis. Bean shells all over my penis...
