Read the thread. Once again - never taped a show in my life and I completely agree with everything thing you said. If I were to do such a thing, I would absolutely ask the band's permission in advance - and would never do it of they didn't approve. Sorry if my post gave the impression that I was going to be a dick about it. I am a total dick, but not when it comes to things like this.

And also, I fucking hate Henry Rollins.

not to put too fine a point on it, but we don't consider show taping "stealing," in any sense of the word. We consider it inconsiderate of those who are there to be immedately (not eventually) involved in the show.

The show is for people who are there at the moment, and not "history" or whatever.
