Subterranean is starting to do all ages events, so maybe it won't have to be 21+. I would assume that it will be all ages considering the band's history. Wasn't that New Years Day Fireside show way back at something like 10AM to keep the old drunks away?

I'm pretty sure it was at 7am, and I think it was just to screw with everyone. Most of us showed up fairly tossed.

Subterranean doing all ages and 18+ shows is really fucking great. I thought there was no hope of me going to this show.

So does any one know for sure if this show is all ages and or 18+? I appreciate those of you who have made comments about previous all ages/18+ shows at this location but that hasn't answered my question.

When the show is announced on subterranean's website, it will note the age restriction. I would expect the announcement within a few weeks.

1) the show is 21 and over.

2) justin has us pegged. dianogah's new 'schtick' is that we will only play shows which are benefits for ill children.

3) i am sitting half naked and slightly drunk (on two margaritas and a pile of medium-rare beef) in the camino real hotel (el paso, tx), overlooking juarez, mexico, from whence i have just returned.

4) justin's band (the asparagus project) has a song on their new record which ends with him screaming "DORA THE EXPLORER!"

5) re: that other thread: it's not really my fault, but sort of. anyway, it will be better soon. it's going fine now.

6) the camino real hotel is home to the world's largest tiffany stained-glass dome.

7) the camino real hotel is where pancho villa would trade stolen horses for arms during the war for mexican independence.

8) there are a lot of latinos here.

9) do not joke with the border guards (such as trying to speak only german to them to claim your american citizenship, for example).

10) i made some students cry today.

I always wondering what a drunk Jay would be like. Now we know. Sorta like sleepy Jay, but with more parenthesis.

I'd just like to say thanks here for the overwhelming number of private messages I have received. Too many to get back to individually. To those who responded: keep your eyes peeled. The time for your help will come soon and you'll know it when you see it. Price of liberty, eternal vigilance and all that.
