This has to be my favorite black metal logo, Xasthur:
The amount of time and effort these bands put into making sure no one knows who they are, deserves applause.

black flag
JFA
those death metal ones are cool, but they are basically all the same.
same with:
Metallica
Iron Maiden
Slayer etc.
These are all the same aesthetic.
