Nicolas Cage could make films with Eddie Murphy about talking animals for the rest of his career...or pair up with Carrot Top for a series of collect call phone commercials...or do nothing but unnecessary '70s horror film re-makes....or write and star in a one-man hip-hopera that portrays the Bush administration in a positive light...and Adaptation alone would still make him not crap. It's that good.

Lord of War. Some iffy parts, but a great Cage movie.

I forgot about that one. You're completely correct. Although, the really amazing actor in that movie is Chris Cooper - talk about not crap.

I do believe that given the right role he can act. He's just made some shitty choices.

I like him a lot when he is acting. When he does that other thing he's unwatchable. Adaptation is great. The Rock is stultifying dross.

Oh, he does have a little piece of hardware from a movie called Leaving Las Vegas.

The hair plugs in National Treasure were horrifying.

He's a Coppola, and I've heard he's a total dicktard.

It's just like a Coppola to make some great art, and some shit art, but to have your head completely up your ass regarding how one behaves in the presence of the "great unwashed."

Great actor with some bad movies under his belt, yet a total dick.

The waffles all cancel each other out on this one, and so I remain undecided.
