The Adelaide and Melbourne areas seem to produce a lot of great bands.

It's been far too long between drinks for this band. I have heard tell that True Rad will be laying some shows this year, but it is getting increasingly harder what with Ev being on tour most of the time and Scotty in Radelaide.
That said, they make me smile and move when they play their fine rawk.

I love this band. never seen them but the album is a great work.
If they no longer exist that's a shame, but the members continue to make excellent music of a wide variety in other bands ranging from Doom (Whitehorse) to ethereal pop (Pikelet) . Leith also runs agreat little albel, Sabbatical.

I just wrote:aussies, out of nowhere.
Would not go see this band.
some Australian bands have been recording at electrical i believe. Taht's enough to get people in the microscopic music community interested. It's a change from spearing fish, shooting kangaroos and buggering sheep.

Harper? Yeah, you know what, they'd probably play in Tasmania if asked.
Speaking of Aussies coming out of nowhere, Naked On The Vague (NOTV) are in the US right now. For anyone who likes retard no wave sludgefuck noise punk, they come to you from the few remaining Sydney warehouses and slimy dens. They have a record out on Siltbreeze and should be seen if you get the chance. Not yr typical EA band, if there is such a thing, rooted in similar places to Primitive Calculators, at times swampier and more densely absorbing whirlpools of sound
