We'll do a vacuum with that ghostbuster shoulder vac a bit more frequently. The murphy's is very gentle, and we use only a tiny bit with a tiny bit of water, hence the print on the strips is still intact.

Proper device design includes ESD testing and protection. It's not really in a manufacturer's best interest to release a product that blows up every time somebody walks across a carpet and then touches the case.
