The Red Sox so far this season are awful. I am not sure they can turn this around. However, I am enjoying the Phillies and the Mets.

Because 2019 White Sox pitching is a disorienting shit show, let's rewind the tape for a minute. It has turned out that beloved White Sox closer, legend and sandwich enthusiast Bobby Jenks had his career ended by gross medical malpractice. His back surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital was working in two operating rooms at the same time and managed to bungle Bobby's vertebra, bra.https://sports.yahoo.com/former-white-s ... 07984.htmlIn December 2011, Jenks had spinal decompression surgery at MGH and was told that while the surgery does not guarantee anything, it was his best chance to return to the league. However, in the aftermath of the three-hour surgery, Jenks experienced painful headaches and issues with leaking spinal fluid.Jenks filed to sue Dr. Kirkham Wood and MGH in 2015 after learning that there was a second surgery that Dr. Wood was overseeing as his surgery was going on.In a recent interview Jenks stated, "I want this to be spread everywhere and known by everybody.....What they practiced at the hospital was unsafe and should not be done anywhere."Jenks has said he plans to use the $5.1 million from the settlement to teach the general public about the great dangers connected to concurrent surgery. In this totally normal country, I have to wonder: how much do you think they offered him to keep his mouth shut?-r

I know Lindor's coming back in a few weeks and Jose Ramirez's slump from August 2018 probably isn't going to carry over into ALL of this year, but there's quite a bit of replacement level dead weight making outs for that team everyday.Great rotation though. That might be enough. They'll need to win A LOT of 3-1 games to do it though. Total garbage that they didn't try harder knowing this is probably their last chance to go deep before they likely blow it up next winter.25-23 currently. Fangraphs puts the Indians at 25th in offense WAR at -43.9. They are 5th in pitching WAR at +7.0 though. But the Twins are 7th in pitching WAR at +6.8. The Twins are also the best defensive team in the league and there's a chance that they'll have twice as many team home runs as the Indians within the next two weeks. As a Twins fan, I'm ready to stop hedging. They're back. Next year I expect the White Sox to be back as well. All will be right with the AL Central seeing those two fight it out meaningfully again.
