going on the assumption that people on this board would have similar taste in music to myself, i've been looking through the crap/not crap board to find new music. new year/bedhead are definitely my two favorite bands that i've been able to find so far. i got addicted to this stuff. its really amazing.

Last night I dreamt there was a new record by The New Year.
I had it on vinyl. The artwork was weird. Like a sheer black cover with two red lines intersecting in the centre. I played both sides and it was incredible. I am sort of terrified that my subconscious is capable of creating a an entire album of songs by The New Year just to fuck with me. The first song was called 'House of Blankets'. That's all I remember.

The new material I saw them play this summer was great. Matt plays keyboards a lot. They said they were recording it this August, and it should be out sometime next year. Your dreams, they are answered, Tommydski!
