Wonderful folks. I spent a few hours jabberjawing with them in Oslo. The drummer (chris? I'm shit with names) and I both sheepishly admitted our love for J Mascis--like a strange, sort of undying love.
I felt like I imprinted on this drummer, much like a baby deer does to a bigger, mama sized deer. We had both read a lot of

They then dedicated their set to the State of North Dakota.

It was really a great night!

Not Crap. Though I always felt they could do a bit better. Like take it up a bit further or take the drums a bit further at least. A lot of the songs seem a bit restrained, which is good for building the tension but then you're just dying for a huge anthemic release. I guess I'm saying they need to go a bit mogwai sometimes.


Saw them live once. They were good but their equipment was fucking up all night.

I suspect that the members of this band own two records between them. One Mogwai record. One Godspeed record. I also suspect that occasionally this band loan their two lone records to Mono; Who own no records.

Boring, totally pedestrian crap!

I decided to throw on The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place and I'm really happy I did.
