Gray Summit, MO...have fun. rayj really didn't convey the danger associated with going into this bar. These people are all about fighting. I used to visit rayj there while he was working as a short-order cook. There was always someone staring me down, looking for a fight. The patrons of this bar are all completely insane, alcoholic, pill taking meth-heads. They have the racist David Allan Coe material on the jukebox, if that helps to paint the picture of this place. I do like rayj's Dad, but he runs a scary scary business.

Firearm 'show-and-tell' night was indeed a night to remember. I had the 'OK', as the owners son. Number of participating patrons: 7. Number of firearms: 9. Of course, that was 6 years ago, so no need to raid the place, sirs.

you know how like, vietnam veterans will have flashbacks for years and years after they leave the war? because what they saw and did was so awful it's always on their mind, they can't escape it? Even if they are having a nice day some horrible war memory will just barge it's way into their thoughts?

the 'Tennessee Crest' is a slang term for that hairdo where the 'bangs' (i.e. the hair just across the top of the forehead) are teased up, sometime to absurd heights/shapes. The crown, sides, and back are usually given less attention, but I believe the height of the crest denotes increased breeding capabilities. This style is typically accompanied by stonewashed denim, and T-shirts sporting Foreigner or Boston hit record artwork. Or Harley Davidson iconic imagery of some sort.
