Also - those Maranger guitars are very very cool! I played a show with a band (strange attractor) who had one of his basses a few months back and it was really striking.

haha! I do but it's been a lonnnng time - we would go and try to watch anything Jesse was doing because he was always into good stuff.
He might not remember me, but he would know Andrew Jeffkins, I'm his friend Tyler.

Big city Canada find for real:
Rebadged Squier Jazzmaster with Fender USA hardware swapped in, bridge is a Classic Player TOM I think, is super fucking comfortable with a flatter radius than I'm used too and sanded down neck. Pickups (assumed stock) are shockingly decent. Cheap heat for the win...
Might have to re-radius my 90s CIJ now.
