Cannot get below 208. Fucking weird and frustrating. Maybe obsessively eating from 10PM to 2AM might have to go, boo hoo.

It's just so, so obvious what I'd need to do to shave off this last ten, and I fucking won't do it. I don't get it, total mental block. I've tried even going biking after my kids go to sleep, and end up coming home and pounding a food until I pass out. Courage, where'd you go, brah?!? I need you!!!

I cut carbs except before a workout and when I'm drinking beer on the weekends. Went from 210 to 198 in no time. But I'm tired as hell in the mornings.Lifts have been off the chain though, I'm squatting stupid amounts.

Well, maybe cut on the workouts for a week and see how your CNS feels after? And if you're doing low carb, 3 times a week would be optimal amount of sessions. How's your workout plan looking these days?

Ugh. Canned soup.I always go with a solid protein in a meal, always some kind of protein source. If it's a snack, almonds and cashews and maybe some pumpkin seeds or if it's a carbs snack always dried apricots or prunes (as low as I can go with GI). It takes care of my sweets craving (if I have one) and keeps the insulin levels pretty low.It always depends on your monetary situation and how much healthy food you can afford.

208? I've been hovering between 213 and 217 for what seems like forever.Got a paunch, little tits, and jowls. But if you grade it on the curve, for someone who's seen as many movies as I have, I'm practically Michael Phelps! But yeah, it's never a bad time to slim down some. A good start is to try to not drink your calories, which I find hard to do because I love soft drinks (far more than beer, which is also bad for you, if you're trying to lose weight).

I quit soft drinks years ago because they're just liquid sugar, and I also replaced the beer with water at gigs. No more pies or fish & chips or apricot chocolate chip cookies either. This is how it's gotta be since I'm aiming to lose weight, not just maintain it, which means I have to eat less than enough for a while. If you have not tried it, try \_not cutting back\_ on protein and fat. Eat as much of it as you want. Eat greens. As much as you want. I'd eat cooked tomatoes, myself. If you starve yourself, your body will hang onto all the fat it can to preserve its energy stores. You gotta eat.Cut carbs ruthlessly. Cut sugar down to nothing or as close to it as you can manage. No pastry, crackers, no pretzels. Very little or no bread. Very little or no pasta. Cut fruit if you can do it. Don't eat a lot of dairy, cheese better than other stuff. Cut artificial sweeteners (some evidence suggests that placebo effect causes body to react to them as if they were sugar (!)).I think you'll be surprised if you have not done that kind of thing already. I don't eat this way all the time, but it's nice knowing it works and I can always peel off carbs to lose weight if I get too heavy. You don't have to torture yourself by just not eating.

The only supplement I ever use is hemp protein. Anything else causes some bother or other. That said I'm a fighting middleweight with no fancy of growing any bigger.

Totally know what I need to do, just don't have the willpower to actually do it. I fall back on the "I've given up so much shit in my life, can't I just fucking have this?", which is of course NOT how it works. Started weight training again yesterday. Maybe that'll help motivate me.
