!!! are indeed terrible. this is coming from a guy who enjoys a lot of "dance music" and likes to "get his groove on" somewhat regularly.
just the other day i was talking to one of my post-punk aficionado buddies and neither of us could understand why !!! are on T&G and Mahjongg (a fine band) are not. baffling. especially considering that the latter hail from Chicago and have just the right, obliquely subversive attitude for the sort of music they're doing. Mahjongg are the real deal. !!! = Crap-Crap-Crap
