for the past few months, Steve Shelton's drumming has been blowing my mind. Especially on "Noise International" on the Loincloth demo.

The thing about it is...a player gets to a certain level technically, and then it becomes about his style, his persona bag of tricks, what he does that other drummers don't do, his tatse, etc...

That being said, though, I do think Steve Shelley is underrated as a drummer.
