Wow. Awesome! You must've been thinking, "Please please please don't let this one turn out to be crazy or a drug addict or have a penis."

Mind was blown.[/quote]

Hope that's not the only thing that was blown...

My experiences in gay bars were positive, except for the music. I had the misfortune of chasing after a straight girl with several gay friends who would hang at one called "Bambi's." Gives a new meaning to the term "cock-block."

However, as I was in the local music biz at the time, I chatted up the owner (who died a couple years back) about his PA and met some cool people in the process. Free cover, drinks and all that the two or three times I've been there. What really prevents me from going is the bar's location...the neighborhood is so bad you could get killed all kinds of ways just walking to your car.

It's really cute.

Ty Webb! Your avatar is also very gay to me.

I mean, a dork in a jumpsuit? Really?

Ty, why do you say shit like this:

Ty Webb wrote:Gay guys are way, way more persistent and clumsy in their pickup attempts than straight guys. And they have a much harder time taking "no" for an answer. Ladies, count yourselves lucky.

It's complete bullshit. You have no idea just how fucking horrible straight men can be, and I think you somehow just think it's worse if it's 1. Gay and 2. Happening to you. Seriously, when have you ever been hit on by a straight man? Don't fucking tell me I'm lucky.

I said it because that was my experience in the gay clubs I went to that time.

But I'm glad your assumptions about me fit your idea of straight men and comfort you in your sanctity. Thank you for taking a relatively lighthearted statement and transforming it into a searing, traumatized indictment of my insensitivity toward women and homosexual men alike. I'm duly chastened.

Jesus fucking christ.

Some of you really seem to have issues with homosexuality. Or at least confusion about it anyway. I wouldn't have expected that from the PRF.

Edit: grammar

I'd caution everyone not to make assumptions about something as complex and nuanced as attitudes towards homosexuality and gender based on a handful of posts on an internet board, most of which are intended to be humorous and/or sarcastic.

Yeah, with the amount of sarcasm this board contains it really should be the SPRF.

Yeah c'mon people, Ty and I have lovingly cradled each other, cupping balls in our hands so gently and in a masculine fashion, with no threat to our hetero status and WITHOUT A HINT of irony or supressed rage against homosexuals or our mothers, while drinking expensive white wine and listening to Samwell's "What What In The Butt" while our hot girlfriends watched and masturbated furiously.

So it's cool is what I'm saying.
