tommydski's statement is fucking stupid, so in my eyes agreeing with such a stupid fucking statement makes you fucking stupid as well.
It's something a real annoying fidgety asshole college kid with messy hair would say at a party to some ugly chick he isn't even attempting to fuck...he's just talking at her trying to sound intelligent or cultured or I don't know, gay.

Anyway, I don't think there's some deep explanation for "why" Cocorosie are on T&G. The other mundane (and probable) explanation is that Corey just happens to like what Cocoroise do, or at least finds them interesting to a degree that warrants the effort to put out their records.

Taste is a funny thing. Get five people in a room, all of whom like the same ten given bands on T&G or any other label. Each of these people, united as they appear to be in their normative assumptions about music, will also have a fondess for some artist that the other four dislike, and possibly even detest. "Why" this it the case is something that can't easily be explained or theorized. Call it the case of the fifth dentist.

I've been to Madison on several occasions and I feel confident in saying that there are no bad looking women in all of Madison, some foxy mamas up that way.

I stand by my earlier comments though. I don't know why it would detract from your enjoyment of this band. That is immediately what came to mind when I heard their music. I'm not saying that to annoy or appease anyone.
