Eat all of the good food that you want and just a very small amount of garbage And you will win . Assuming that you move your ass as well.

I've found that if I'm very specific about my first 2 meals, I have a lot more leeway when it comes too evening food. You can be decent and slightly decadent at the same time. Works for me.

My legs are really sore. Those big squat and deadlift legs are long gone. I hope they remember those days. I need them back.I've been following this man's progress over the last few months, and I have to tell you he's an absolute fucking hero and I'll be following his example come October. That is all, thank you.

I'm not gonna fast through 16 hours to get 8 hours of food, or fast 20 hours which is completely moronic, but I'm gonna spread my meals through 10 or maybe 11 hours and sleep 8 and that leaves me just around not eating right after I wake up and eating at least 2 hours before I go to bed.sidenote: Dr. Rhonda is hawt.

Luzwei wrote:Those big squat and deadlift legs are long gone. I hope they remember those days. I need them back.they do. it's kind of like fat cells. once built, always there, drained but there. the body does remember its muscles, even if catabolized. ever read the story about the guy who put on 40lbs in a month? even if a gross exaggeration it was mostly because it was muscle he had built already once before. your legs will come back, but man, getting strength back is one of the most painful, hurtful things. you knew what you could do, you know what you've done, and the fucking weight is goddamned laughing at you. i sprained my ankle rushing through some squats, hadn't noticed the form had laxed...having to put less than three plates on now...MY EGO! IT'S BRUISED!

I bought a weight vest -- an adjustable one, where you can wear 2.5 up to 40 pounds of weight by adding little sand bags, like this:Our family tries to stay active, and as a man of a certain age, I want to train for hiking with our 2.5-year-old daughter on my back. I do okay right now, but even hikes of 2 or 3 miles at elevation kick my ass pretty hard*.I did 30 minutes on the elliptical machine last week wearing 25 pounds. Felt okay during the work out, but I was pretty wrecked the next day. In a good way, though. Increasing to 30 pounds to night.*I carry similar weight when backpacking, but it doesn t wear me out like wearing the kiddo. There s something about the weight distribution on the child carrier that is inefficient. Might also have to upgrade carriers.
