North St. Louis isn't much better!

With this level of poverty, it's no surprise why St. Louis is consistently voted "America's Most Dangerous City"

Wait...this reply was to a post that just disappeared. Something about North St. Louis. Sorry about the nonsense...

I'm sorry, I had a little trouble with the photographic evidence.

Birmingham, England.

I have visted here a few times, and don't like the place at all. It is just one big urban sprawl, the entire time i was there i didn't see one blade of grass. It has a funny atmosphere as well. We were there on a lads drinking weekend, and the bars and pubs we could find were poor.

Whoa, seriously?

I might be transferred there. The only thing holding me back is the 30% tax rate. How hard is it to migrate? Anyone else been to Marseille?

I've never spent any more than a day or two there at once, but I do remember going into one quite good pub that had a ton of cool beers. Except you didn't ask for the beer, they had a screen up with some statistics about each beer and a pump number, and you had to go and ask for a "pint of number 14" or something... seemed a bit silly.

But yeah, the Bullring is creepy as fuck... I feel like I'm about to have a nervous breakdown going in there. Yuck.

Marseille is great, if you don't have to count on public trasportation. It's a huge cityalong the bay. If you have a car it can be really cool. The cities around are awesome (Cassis and the callanques for example are really beautifull).
Marseille has been getting more expensive these last ten years, cleaner and cleaner too (though you can still consider it a dirty town)thanks to the TGV, a rapid train that gets you to paris in 3,5 hours.
I have already considered moving there but finally decided to stay in paris because I can get much more work here.
On the shitside, Marseille is a little bit of a cultural desert, compared to some cities of the same size (but I guess this is allready changing now that there is the TGV).

What 30 percent? the tax is 19,6. You don't have to tip the waiter or the taxi.

Edit: Yes you sometimes have to watch your back there if you're walking in the city at midnight.

Mexico City is not unlike what I imagine one of the circles of hell to be like.
Whew, what a shitty place to find yourself. The cops will rob you about 4 times a day on average. Then you have to worry about the actual robbers robbing you. Then there's the wild packs of dogs everywhere, the filth and grime....the air is horrible, you will have a sore throat and blowing black snot the entire time. It's depressing.

Moscow is a horrible place to find yourself as well. The second you step off the plane there's this feeling in the air. Makes you wanna just go home.

St. Louis just make my list, with this last tour. All of it...We saw about 10 square feet of liveable space within city limits. So what is the fucking deal? is there no $, no idea that giant old warehouses can be used for anything? Just sprawling falling down industrial complexes being left crumble, rather than being condemed and renovated or taken by the city and converted to housing/retail/light industry.

Just a shade below spokane, just above New Orleans
