I saw someone mentioned Seb from Trans Am. I'm all for him, Kevin Coultas from Rodan, Loz from Ride and, seriously, my drummer, Pete Nuwayser. At almost every show we play I can hear people cheering as he pulls out these insane fills he drops like easter eggs in the middle of my li'l ol' pop songs. The brilliant fills used to distract me, to the point where I'd forget what I was doing, but I've acclimated. -E
PS And Than ... I don't know his last name. He was just on tour with Adam Franklin and his feel was IMPECCABLE. Real sweetheart of a guy, too.

Once went to the House of Blues here in Cleveland to see Ernie Krivda's Fat Tuesday Big Band. The drummer was no older than 15 and he did a massive solo for their rendition of "Sing, Sing Sing." Not sure if he still plays with them since that was three or four years ago, but that kid has a future in drumming.

The best drummer I have seen in real life is Cheshire Agusta from Stinking Lizaveta. Absolutely rock solid performance. She drummed like she was possessed.
I saw them at a small local venue, and before they went on Cheshire was sitting down in a quiet dark corner of the venue doing what looked like Karmic Yoga. This with the hustle and bustle of a venue seemed to require some amount of discipline and concentration.

I've been blown away by many great drummers live
The dude from Helmet rocked pretty hard as did the guy from Jawbox back in the day.
Not on the level of Bonham or Grohl but i've only seen those guys on vids, grohl only plays guitar now

Matt Walker- Saw him w/Morrissey recently and he fucking killed.
Gerald Dowd, from Robbie Fulks' band is the most naturally gifted drummer I've ever seen. So good is his drumming that it becomes lucid, way beyond the role of a 'timepiece'.
Glen Kotche was almost impossibly good when I saw Wilco at the Prizker Pavilion.
