Theres a lot of bands that I don't listen to anymore but they made me happy decades ago. They don't deserve a C vote.

The only person with a superiority complex bigger than a hardcore "Patton Projects" fan is the guy who thinks he's better than the fan.

Mike Patton has always struck me as the kind of guys who says "YOUR little sculpture of boogers is gross, but MINE is art".

I haven't been able to stomach enough of his stuff to prove myself wrong, so maybe I'm not playing fair. I'm OK with that.

The Spin Doctors' Mark White and ABC/Vice Versa's Mark White should totally form a duo. It'd be funky for sure (slap bass, '80s beatbox drum programs), w/kind of a cultural yin and yang concept (black American neo-hippie; whiter-than-white Northern English industrial dude turned synth popper), and they could both wear leather trenchcoats and shades. I'd never go see them, but they'd have my begrudging respect.

The Spin Doctors' guitarist dated an old neighbor of mine. Never met the man, but a cloud of weed was constantly seeping out from under that apartment door. Surprise.

What would be a deal breaker for me, if we knew if Patton is a meat or a vege pie guy...

This would solve most of the start point disputes.

Maybe somebody already posted this, but by all accounts MIKE PATTON doesn’t even like Faith No More.

steve and I played in a local card game where every once in a while this guy would deal and he looked like he walked out of a phish show in 1994. at one point, when talking about him, steve said “[name redacted] looks like he got kicked out of the spin doctors for being too high”

that made me laugh.
