Moody's has a good sloppy joe if I remember. I haven't been back there since my friends got treated poorly by an angry waitress, and her retarded manager (don't know if he was actually retarded).

Yes.
I went to Paradise Pup for the first time on a Saturday about a month ago. I have driven past it many times, but I had never gone there before because it closes at 5:00 p.m. and is closed on Sunday. The very next day after going there for the first time, I was watching DD&D, and the first diner was Paradise Pup. I think it was an older episode, but I'm not sure.
Every time I try to go there now, if you don't get there first thing, you wait in line for quite a while, as it is usually snaked out the door and around the building.

how's Cafe Bolero? any good?
Not so much since the new ownership. It used to be one of my favorite places. I have given it 2 shots since the changeover. The new people kept the old menu. They should have kept the kitchen staff as well.

I always thought they kept the lighting at Moody's to just table candles so you couldn't see brighter light glistening off the layers of grease that coats every surface of that place.
Anyway, I love how dark and dreary that place is.

right now I am eating a maracuya helado (like an italian ice) that I got from the street vendors in front of Armitage Produce (at kimball). This shit is the bomb. I could literally OD on it's deliciousness. its only a dollar for 2 sweet sweet scoops. They also have fresa (strawberry), parcha (passion fruit) and coco (coconut). Oh man...

Le Lan chef Bill Kim goes downscale with this counter-service noodle and dumping house opening this July on the edge of Logan Square. Along with wife Yvonne Cadiz-Kim, Kim plans for the 40-seat BYOB space to focus on his first love, noodles. (He did a six-day noodle-hunting journey through Japan in search of the best). Despite a hipper decor, this is no ramen-only spot: We can hardly wait to try dishes like the roasted pork with hoisen sauce served with soba noodles. Look for a dumpling brunch on Sundays, too.

Ecuadorian restaurant just opened on Ctrl Park and Milwaukee. Go for breakfast. Two perfect poached eggs, fried plantains, and ecuadorian cheese for $4
Service, hipness, ambience, spelling on menu = terrible; food = amazing.
