Hey! I have Phimosis so I'd actually quite like to have been snipped.

The only reason I don't have it done now is that I hear it can be messy/painful as an adult. So instead I have to continue to deal with ladies trying to wrench off my foreskin every so often. I usually have to use a lot of lube to make penetrative sex comfortable. It's pretty fucking annoying!

I was reading once that in Japan, Scientists have been able to change the genetic makeup of a pig. We all know omega 6 fats are not good for you. A lot of people, especially Americans, love pork, eat the most pork, and Americans have the worst diets in the world. So instead of people having the will power and knowledge of eating correctly, in this life it has become easier to change the genetic makeup of a pig to have omega 3 fats, rather than 6.

In my mind (which is pretty abstract), I see a similarity with most practices that are done in this country.

It is easier to cut off/mutilate change the "genetic" makeup of a human instead of just being informed and keep it clean.

For people who are pro circumcision, and have seen a baby or even worse there own baby get cut, and still think it is ok, are sick fucking people.

I was snipped but the 'rents were very aware that I might not have wanted it that way, so they kept it cold storage. It took a while to get used to again.

i had it done at 20 for this very reason - if my foreskin did get back then as my dick enlarged the end would be strangled. this diminished the appeal of sex somewhat.

my tips (?)

1. approach your doctor and get the ball rolling - this was the hardest part for me.
2. deal with each new and interesting development as it arises - the op and recovery is on the whole an interesting and amusing experience. it's also done under a general rather than local anaesthetic.
3. buy lots of booze. you may need this to stop unwanted stiffness developing while the stitches are in - my dick went loopy as soon as it realised there was no way i could fuck. i couldn't even touch my girlfriend.
4. bathe regularly with a small amount of disinfectant in the bathwater. don't accidentally tip a 1/4 bottle of Dettol into the bath - this is like sticking your dick in chillis.
5. it's going to take a little while to get over it - don't rush it. if you can restrain youself from wanking until the stitches are gone then you are a stronger man than me.
6. you may find it better to lose the underwear for a while. to your unprotected end boxers will feel like sand paper.

ultimately it should change your life for the better and the rewards, in my case, were immense.

As for male bog standard circumcision - may I reiterate that being circumcised is awesome.

And I have never, ever met a girl who thinks that an uncircumcised dick looks better than a circumcised one.
